"2nd edit: Steve Cannon's office has sent me paperwork to transfer to another office rather than working with me to address and resolve the existing issues. Edit: Within an hour of posting this review, I received my first call from Steve, who expressed that he felt the review was unfair. However, he did acknowledge that his office had failed to communicate effectively. During that single phone conversation, he assured me with statements such as, “I will take care of you,” and “Trust me.” Unfortunately, I have not heard from him since. It has now been three weeks without any follow-up. As of today, June 4, 2025—nearly two months since the date of loss on April 7, 2025—my six-year-old child and I are still living in a home with concrete floors and a makeshift kitchen and bathroom setup. Despite the initial assurances, the situation remains unresolved. I’m extremely disappointed in the level of service I’ve received from Steve Cannon with State Farm. My date of loss was April 7, 2025, when my entire home flooded. Despite repeated requests, I have yet to receive a single phone call from my agent. I initially requested a call and, after hearing nothing, followed up myself. I was told by the receptionist that she assumed my issue had been resolved and never passed along the message. I called again and asked for a call back, only to be told later that “we” had agreed I didn’t need one—which was never the case. At this point, five weeks have passed and my agent has still not made any attempt to contact me directly. Instead, Kailee—the person who answers the phones—has done more to handle my claim than the agent I pay thousands of dollars to every year. It also took over three weeks just for the payout process to even begin. The complete lack of communication, urgency, and follow-through has only added to the stress of a major home disaster. I expected better from State Farm and especially from my designated agent. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disheartening."

We issued a reimbursement check within four weeks of your claim, significantly faster than the standard 8 to 10 week timeline. It’s important to emphasize that the payout process does take time and it did not begin in three weeks. Our team ensured you were connected with your claims adjuster each time you reached out, prioritizing your needs throughout the entire process. We recognize that navigating homeowner claims, especially those involving water damage, can be complex and stressful. We understand the challenges you faced and hope you can find some peace knowing you have received compensation for the damages incurred."
